Katunayake International Airport Ground Activity From Departures (Colombo BIA)

Another video of ground activity from the departure area of Katunayake International Airport Sri Lanka, as we wait for our outbound flight to London Heathrow on the new Airbus A330-300.

Most of the west and east air bridges seem to be occupied as Air Asia pushback opens up a space which is used later on by Mihin Lanka Airbus A320.

About half of the Sri Lankan fleet is seen towards the west of the airport apron.

There seems to be a request for a medical personal onboard Sri Lankan 4R-ABQ as it taxies to gate.

Emirates Landing in Dubai DXB from Colombo EK651 B777 300ER

Afternoon approach to Dubai DXB on Emirates EK651 from Colombo. Top flight on this relatively new Boeing 777-300ER, must say the Emirates ICE inflight entertainment seems to be getting better and found the PTVs of this 777 much better than their A380 counterparts. Nice high ceiling cabin space, for me at least.

Lovely approach passing Al Awir, bordering the dessert and passing a very residential area before touchdown.
