Sri Lankan Airlines UL504 New Airbus A330-300 | LHR-CMB

My first flight on the brand new Sri Lankan Airlines Airbus A330-330. This is the first of many Sri Lankan A333s orderd and more to follow over the coming years. Seems like Sri Lankan have been using the new A333 on one of their busiest routes, CMB-LHR. 

The brand new personal TVs and entertainment systems is definietly a plus when compared to some of the older A330-200 models under Sri Lankan. The seats now have their own USB charging ports. When we flew this in April 2015 not all of the nose or tail cams were in place and I guess these will be remedied in time to come. Overall a good flight experience, outbound flight crew were very professional and excellent!

Sri Lankan Airlines Airbus A320 on finals to Colombo

Relatively new Airbus A320 of Sri Lankan Airlines on finals to Colombo CMB International airport, departing from Singapore Changi SIN.

Lovely weather conditions on approach to Colombo over beautiful central hilly Sri Lanka.

Flight time is just about 4 hours crossing a somewhat large stretch of the indian ocean before entering Sri Lanka from the east and on finals to Katunayake International Airport.
